A 64-bit OS and processor are required. The minimum GPU is modest, but the 12 GB RAM floor is the part to watch on older laptops.
Can my PC run it? Quick checklist
- Desktop GPU from ~2016 or later (GTX 700-series / RX 300-series / Arc A380+): You meet the minimum. Expect playable framerates at 1080p.
- 16 GB RAM or more: You'll hit the recommended bar comfortably.
- Integrated graphics only (no dedicated GPU): Risky — none of the listed minimum GPUs are integrated. An Arc A380 (6 GB) is the lowest listed, so iGPU-only machines may struggle.
- Apple Silicon Mac (M1/M2/M3): Supported on macOS 15. M1 meets minimum; M3 hits recommended.
Laptop notes
Many thin-and-light laptops ship 8 GB RAM — below the 12 GB minimum. If you're on 8 GB, expect stutter or failure to launch. Check your RAM before buying; the GPU is less often the bottleneck here than memory.
Controllers & input
Big Walk has full controller support (Xbox and PlayStation controllers) and is built for relaxed, no-twitch input — you won't need fast reactions. Mouse-and-keyboard works too.
